Safety

Did you know that the safety regulations for chartering an aircraft are much stricter than when the same aircraft is flown on its owner’s schedule? This is because, although both are regulated by the same authority (ANAC), each operation has its specific rules, governed by RBAC 135 (charter) and RBAC 91 (private).

Unfortunately, despite being highly dangerous and prohibited, it is still quite common for non-certified aircraft for Air Taxi operations to be offered and contracted, either due to the lack of knowledge on the part of the client or the more attractive price, which is justified by not complying with ANAC requirements, such as: up-to-date maintenance from authorized workshops, additional documentation (with insurance being the main cost driver), more regular flight simulator training, training of the crew for air taxi operations, the obligation of having two crew members for twin-engine aircraft, among others.

When chartering a flight, it is crucial that the operator (air taxi company), the aircraft, and the crew are authorized to perform it within the rules required by ANAC. For this, there is an extensive list of documentation that validates their compliance, and it can be requested at any time.

Here, any proposal for your charter will always consider (and only consider) certified aircraft, aiming at safety and operational quality as the primary pillars, regardless of the flight profile or the client.
